Mocam use high-speed UTMS (3G) mobile phone networks, as well as a choice of transmission such as Radio and Broadband/ADSL or a combination to transmit images without the need for any fixed system other than a mains power source.
Images and video can be transmitted direct to any PC or laptop with recorder as the built in Wi-Fi facility enables the data to be downloaded to a Laptop remote of the camera.

Wi Fi offers remote connection to CCTV cameras but over limited distances but can link to other far reaching networks. Wi Fi enables the access to build in control and recording without the need to gain access to the main system. It can therefore be installed in hard to reach locations.
GPRS/GSM (Mobile Telephone Networks)
Mocam GSM package utilises the latest technology of 3G (Universal Telephone Mobile System) this can provide high bandwidths which offer by far the best communication over the mobile phone networks.
3G can be the primary communication medium or as a hot standby to either Broadband or Radio links.
Broadband/ADSL
Broadband ADSL offers high speed transmission over standard telephone lines, providing fast access to CCTV images without the need for fixed cables. Broadband systems also have the benefit of GSM back-up for security of service.
